This shourt-course on mplementation research (IR) for health programme implementers offers a guide to the critical role of health workers and programme managers in conducting IR aimed at the effective delivery and scale-up of interventions for infectious diseases of poverty in clinical and public health settings. The short-course contains five chapters, begining with an introduction to the practice of IR and the core competencies required for health programme implementers. Subsequent chapters explore how to identify problems in intervention delivery, design robust implementation strategies, and assessing the outcomes of these strategies through practical, real-world examples. Participants will engage in a mix of video-based lectures and discussoin activities, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to address and overcome common challenges in the implementation process. This course is ideal for health professionals eager to enhance their expertise in IR and make significant contributions to health interventions within their communities.
